Health monitor eKincare, which can store all your medical information in one place, monitor it, and give timely alerts, revealed today it has raised US$300,000 in seed funding from Hyderabad-based Bitchemy Ventures and Adroitent.

Digital medical history that can be accessed in a jiffy from anywhere is not new in developed countries. In most of India, this is a novelty. Now eKincare takes digitization of health-related records a step further by building an analytics platform on top of it to spot risks in time. It also has an app to easily digitize physical copies of medical records. This is currently in beta stage.

This product, launched a couple of months ago, is the first by Hyderabad-based startup Aayuv Technologies. It is free for users with no limits on the data stored.

“We are lowering all the barriers and excuses for people to consolidate their medical history. We will also convert it into a format – with color-code, graphical history, and timeline – which is easy to understand,” says Kiran Kalakuntla, founder of Aayuv.

The round of funding will be used for product development, hiring, and marketing.
